Why licensing matters
Licensed, and easy to check
Nepal's Foreign Employment Act 2007 requires every agency that sends workers abroad to hold a licence from the Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE). An agency without a licence cannot lawfully recruit for foreign jobs.
If someone offers you a foreign job and cannot show a DOFE licence number, be careful. Check the licence before you pay or hand over documents.

Do this for any agency before you pay a fee or sign a document.

Open the DOFE portal
Go to dofe.gov.np, the website of the Department of Foreign Employment.

Find the licensed agency list
Look for the list or search of licensed recruitment agencies on the portal. Search by the company name, Power Support Employment Pvt. Ltd., or by licence number 1710/081/082.

Compare the details
Check that the name, licence number and status on the portal match what the agency shows you. Portal layouts change, so use the site's own menus.

Ask DOFE if unsure
If you cannot find an agency, contact DOFE directly before you pay or sign anything.
